Features
The SkyCommand Wireless Control System is a next-generation, central irrigation platform designed for small or large areas — no field wiring or AC power required. Using licence-free LoRa Technology and multiple solar repeaters, it’s ideal for both new and retrofit projects where infrastructure, terrain, or distance create installation challenges.
This commercial irrigation system enables large-area control through site-based hubs, which connect field controllers to the web via Cell, Wi-Fi, or LAN. Waterproof battery-operated irrigation controllers operate on 4 D-cell (R20) batteries, are fully submersible for in-ground irrigation valve box installation, and feature onboard program memory. This eliminates the need for constant communication to maintain schedules. Optional solar power can eliminate the need for battery replacement.
Each system supports up to 100 devices and 400 stations per site, with no limit on the number of sites. It integrates seamlessly with web-based Centralus Software for comprehensive programming, monitoring, and reporting. SkyCommand can also coexist in Centralus alongside other Hunter controllers like ACC2, ICC2, and Pro-C®.
Optional soil moisture sensing and flow monitoring enhance water efficiency and system visibility. Wireless connectivity not only reduces installation costs but also helps insulate components from lightning damage. Multiple repeaters can further extend reliable communication over long distances and challenging terrain without affecting existing infrastructure.
