If more than five SMS messages are sent within a month, the following message will appear under Events: "More than 5 SMS alerts in the last month. SMS alert to +[Phone Number] suppressed." This allowance will reset after the first of each month.
If you are reaching the SMS limit too quickly, we recommend switching to free push notifications, which provide the same alerts without consuming your monthly SMS allowance. These are sent by an app that appears on your lock screen, notification center, or banner even when the app is closed.
- Sign in to your Hydrawise account.
- Tap the (
) Menu icon in the upper left. - Tap Alerts.
- Tap Edit Alert.
- Under Actions, toggle on Send App Notification.
- Tap Back, then Save.
